On Sunday, December 24th, an interview with IGO was broadcast in the segment Hecho en Chile (Made in Chile) of Radio Cooperativa’s program Congreso Futuro. IGO is one of the science- and technology-based companies in the Know Hub Chile portfolio, and it developed a system to implement a digital assistant in a key area of the country: mining.
Hernán Benavente, Computer Engineer from the Universidad Santa María and CEO of IGO, emphasizes that this technology “seeks to empower people who work in isolated conditions, providing them with a digital companion on a mobile device to assist them in performing different activities on a daily basis and enable them to report the problems they have encountered in order to make the process more efficient.”
