Know Hub Chile is driving the Dual Hub Summit, the first Latin American gathering focused on dual innovation, which seeks to bring together efforts from the civilian and defense worlds. The event will take place on May 6 and 7 at Universidad del Bío-Bío in Concepción and will bring together universities, R&D centers, startups, companies, the Armed Forces, public agencies and investors, with the goal of scaling technological solutions from Chile to the world.
Along the same lines, the Proa I+D program, developed by the Chilean Navy’s Technological Innovation Center (CiTA) and Know Hub Chile, with the backing of ANID and Corfo, seeks to connect the Navy with researchers and research centers through applied research projects. Its second edition, Proa I+D 2, is accepting applications until April 28.
The initiative is aimed at Chilean researchers with prior research results who wish to apply for funding jointly with the Chilean Navy (Armada de Chile). For more information and applications, visit: https://knowhub.cl/proa.
