On Sunday, December 24, the Hecho en Chile segment of Radio Cooperativa’s Congreso Futuro program aired an interview with IGO, one of the science-based startups (EBCTs) in Know Hub Chile’s portfolio, which has developed a digital assistant system for an area that is fundamental to the country: mining.
Hernán Benavente, a computer engineer from Universidad Santa María and CEO of IGO, highlights that the technology “seeks to empower people who work in isolated conditions by giving them, through a mobile device, a digital companion that assists them as they carry out different day-to-day activities and that also allows them to report the problems they encountered, making the process more efficient.”
