We are looking to hire a new Communications Analyst.

Overall Objective of the Position: Know Hub’s main mission is to turn research results (technologies) into innovation (products and services in the market and society). This mission must be supported by an effective and efficient communications strategy that consolidates Know Hub’s position in the R&D&I ecosystem. This will be achieved by hiring a professional with the experience and technical skills to adapt and implement the organization’s communications development plan, carrying out a series of specific actions evaluated jointly with the Executive Directorate.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Implement, evaluate and adapt Know Hub Chile’s communications strategy.
- Create content, institutional messaging and key messages.
- Support Know Hub Chile’s engagement with players in the national science, technology, knowledge and innovation ecosystem.
- Manage press relations for activities promoted and/or led by Know Hub.
- Oversee the management of social media and the bilingual website, including content creation.
- Organize and take part in activities related to Know Hub Chile and its partners, including managing promotional publications.
- Support Know Hub Chile’s various programs on communications matters, including overseeing the production of graphic and audiovisual materials.
- Coordinate with the communications units of partner institutions to publicize the activities and technologies of Know Hub and its partners.
- Supervise the work of the communications assistant.
- Provide communications support to the entrepreneurs Know Hub Chile works with.
Cross-Cutting Competencies:
- Flexibility and adaptability to constant change. The Analyst must be able to adapt quickly to new roles and duties that arise in the course of their work. Strong teamwork skills. The Analyst is expected to be actively involved in the work of all areas of the Hub and to receive constant feedback from the rest of the team.
- Advanced English, spoken and written.
- Proficiency in information and communication technologies
- Excellent communication skills. The Analyst must actively help raise the visibility of their work, both within the Hub and among its partners and the innovation ecosystem.
5.Requirements:
Education:
- University degree in communications.
- Knowledge of and experience with the Chilean science, technology and innovation system will be considered a significant advantage.
- Experience and/or a graduate degree in science communication and/or strategic communication will be considered an advantage.
Work Experience: At least 5 years of verifiable work experience in developing and/or implementing strategies, content creation and public relations.
6.Contract duration: permanent contract.
Salary offered: CLP 2,100,000 gross.
