A sensory headband for people with visual impairments. At Ignition it advanced from TRL 2 to TRL 7, and it now holds a patent granted in Chile.
MOV is an auriculo-cranial sensory headband that mimics the echolocation of dolphins and bats using ultrasound sensors and mechanical vibrations. It started as a university thesis and needed technical maturity and a company behind it.
It joined Know Hub Ignition, where it advanced from an early technology readiness level, TRL 2, to validation in a safe environment, TRL 7. We supported the company's formal incorporation and its admission as a partner of the organization.
Public funding, a granted patent and international recognition.

Winner of the 2025 Ingenias Latam International Award (EUIPO and INAPI), which highlights female talent in innovation.
Thanks to Know Hub Ignition, we realized our technology had a very powerful social impact, and we were able to grow from a university startup into a company on the market. We achieved successful validations with blind people who were able to get around with complete freedom and without a cane.
