Soquimat is a science-based technology startup that developed T-COAT, a self-healing, multifunctional anticorrosive paint that incorporates bio-based additives obtained from forestry waste. It seeks to replace components traditionally used in this type of coating, such as lead, copper and phosphates, with bio-based alternatives.
Speeding up its path to market
Soquimat took part in the fourth edition of Know Hub Ignition, which seeks to accelerate technology businesses based on research and development results, and was selected as one of its three winning startups. During the process, the teams received specialized training and mentoring to strengthen their value proposition, define their customer segment and develop their commercial strategy.
